To All Members and Friends of LMSA,Finally, day light savings is here and that means it is time for Wednesday Night Rum Racing. This Wednesday, March 11th will be the first race of 2009. Check in is by 6PM and all boats will be over the line by 6:30PM. Cruzan Rum has become the sponsor our entire 2009 Wednesday Night Rum racing season by offering a bottle of their rum to the winning boat.

Here is an added bonus this Wednesday Night. The Space Shuttle Discovery is scheduled to lift off by 9:20PM that evening. For those of you who have never seen a launch from the lake here is your opportunity. We believe that this will be the last night launch for the space shuttle program so you should check it out if you can.

CENTRAL FLORIDA YACHT CLUB. No report. Their Clemens Cup is coming up. I assume their regular activities are going on. I would be happyto hear from anyone about them. They have a schedule of unusual activities.

THE SAILING CLUB OF CENTRAL FLORIDA. No report. Check the news letter on web site for phone numbers and call before going because of question of use of the Community Center.

LAKE HARRIS SAILING CLUB. No report. They will probably be involved in the Clemens Cup activities.
