MIDDLE OF THE WEEK THING

To all members and friends,As promised this weekend will be the Lake Monroe Sailing Association's overnight trip to Hontoon Island! Sorry for such a short notice on the activities but the Commodore, the vice Commodore and the Fleet Captain have had a busy two weeks. But enough for our sad stories, we will communicate better. We will be leaving the marina at noon on Saturday the 7th and head down the St. John's to Hontoon Island which is approximately 18 nautical miles. This will take 3.5 to 4 hours to motor there. We are suggesting that all of us stay in touch with each other by cell phone or radio if you have one. The slips cost $12.00 and will be well worth it.On the way back Sunday, there will be a Tequila Race from the last pylon's on the I-4 overpass to the Romance marks. Each sailor must keep his or hers own time and turn it in to Andy or Mike at Wolfy's. The winner will receive a bottle of Patron Silver! The phone committee will be contacting the membership to see who will be heading to Hontoon. Please do not hesitate to contact Andy or myself should you have any questions. We have attached a flyer wit some more information.
