Last night we experienced a changing of the guard at the Lake Monroe Sailing Associations weekly Rum Race, sponsored by Cruzan Rums.
The "Show Me" crew lead by Andy Forrest were denied their third bottle of rum by one of our newest members Byron Hicks on his Force 5 "Monkey Butt". The wind gods were very good for some of us and not so good for others as six boats entered the Rum Race and only four finished.
Peter Suah's Raven finished fourth as he single handed the Hunter 23 around the rum course. Lee Adkinson on Dauntless was a quick third placed while Lough-Bouy was a wash and Ollie Oop threw in the towel.
