LAKE EUSTIS SAIING CLUB

Aa The Lake Eustis Sailing Club enjoyed the last warm winds of November with club racing this past weekend. The Wayfarer class had four races all won by Jim Lingeman. Izak Kielmovitch was second with David Hepting third. Dave Moring lead the MC scow group with Geoff Moehl second and Scott Tillema third. Ray Laguna was first in the Flying Scots. Dean Grimes and Joe Lobato were second and Gus Chennells third. The first Laser was Dave Chapin followed by Rob Krentel and Sam Chapin.


Sailing Lessons for youth continue every Saturday and club racing returns in two weeks.

LAKE EUSTIS SAILING CLUB

The Lake Eustis Sailing Club had cooler, windy weather of the Fall that brought exciting sailing with wet spray and capsizes. Winning the MC scow weekend was David Helmick followed by Tim Fredman and Don Fancher. Ray Laguna continued his domination of the Flying Scots with Dean Grimes and Joe Lobato second. Gus Chennells was third. Rob Krentel won the Laser weekend with Dave Chapin second and Patrick Daniel third. Bailey Verkaik was the first Laser youth.

Next weekend the club will host the 18th Annual MC Scow Southeast Region Championship with boats entered from Texas, the Carolinas, Wisconsin, Michigan and New York.
